Mark your calendars for this year’s Veterans Day Memorial Ceremony, taking place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, at the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church of Pine Mountain. Located at 206 N. McDougald Avenue, this venue will welcome community members from near and far to honor our veterans. The Chipley Historical Center invites everyone to join in this moment of remembrance.
A Lineup of Remarkable Events
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities designed to enrich the experience and honor the sacrifices made by veterans. The ceremony will feature the eloquent speeches of U.S. Army retiree Colonel Paul Longgrear, who will share his insights and heartfelt gratitude. The Coweta Falls Chapter of the National Society Sons of American Revolution will provide a color guard to add a ceremonial touch to the event, representing the brave history of our nation.
